Selsley Gardening Club

Our indoor meetings are held from September to April at 2pm on the first Thursday of each month, in Selsley Scout HQ, The Old Forge, Pooles Lane, Selsley, GL5 5LB. See below for details.

We also have a programme of garden visits from May to August. Annual Membership costs £10 and we welcome new members!

Selsley Gardening Club's plant sale 2026

Celebrating 50 Years of Gardening in Selsley

The ever popular Selsley Gardening Club plant sale was held on the 9th May with customers three deep at the stalls. Some great bargains to be had!

Profits exceeded previous plant sales, and will help fund speakers and events throughout the year.

On Thursday March 5th 2026 Selsley Gardening Club celebrated their 50th anniversary with afternoon tea for members and invited guests. The celebration cake was cut by Lucy Chubb Chairman from 1996 to 2025 and Gill Wimperis who was on that very first committee set up at a meeting at The Bell on 3rd March 1976.
